Here is the list of features included with this release of the product.
Protects the Mac from spyware threats.

Pre-packaged with latest 5600 engine.
|Option to disable the local 4:45 p.m. anti-malware update task from ePolicy Orchestrator||
By default, this Anti-malware and DAT files update is scheduled at 4.45 pm local time every day. You can disable this option from ePolicy Orchestrator on a managed Mac.
Auto migration of existing ePolicy Orchestrator policies, tasks, and reports during the extension upgrade.
When the extensions are upgraded, the existing ePolicy Orchestrator policies are migrated and the existing reports are upgraded to the new version automatically.
Completes scan faster and with less resource and make sure that resources are consumed only when the feature is used.
Minimized battery consumption.
Mac will show status as secure if a feature is turned off from ePolicy Orchestrator.
When a protection feature is turned off from the ePolicy Orchestrator, the security status of the managed Mac will appear as "Your Mac is secure".

Therefore, when you install McAfee VirusScan for Mac, you will notice the product name appears as McAfee Endpoint Protection for Mac in the user interface, ePolicy Orchestrator, and in the extension packages.|
